good works

Thought I'd share this message being circulated by the Franciscan Chapel Center in Roppongi's women's network, for anyone in Tokyo who may be interested:

We can't feed the refugees up north, but we can feed our neighbors. With the evacuation of a number of rice cake makers and their families, we are very short on rice cake makers. We simply cannot leave it for the 2 or 3 FCC staff to do. If you can come tomorrow and/or over the next week we would be grateful. Mondays are taken care of by the Mormon missionaries. We start at the following times:

Tues and Wed: 8:30am
Thurs and Fri: 9 am
Sat 9-10:30

The Third Order Franciscans do Sun at 10:30, but you can join them if you like.

Please contact Brandy Heyde at brandyheyde@hotmail.com , but if you don't have time to contact her, please come in anyway.
God bless,
Frances Moyer
